My work is predominantly inspired by nature and the transient nature of life. Being from Europe, I get to spend a lot of time in the Northern Italian landscape and immersed myself in its architecture and history. These experiences have influenced my esthetic in many ways, from the choice of my materials to the color palettes that I favor. I spend a really long time building intricate surfaces and patinas to emphasize the passage of time, embracing the wabi-sabi esthetic and philosophy which celebrate the imperfect and transient nature of life.
